Writing Dialogue (Feb 23 & 24)

February 23 & 24 (5 – 7pm PST / 7 – 9pm CST / 8 – 10pm EST)
The act of writing dialogue is – like a lot of storytelling – the act of excision, and cutting right to the interesting parts. In this two day live and interactive class (4 hours), we will explore what makes movie dialogue unique and special and how to reveal character through dialogue. We will also dive into subtext, developing a distinct voice for each character and how to diagnose and rewrite dialogue.
